San Miguel Alab Pilipinas continues to add depth into their local lineup for the upcoming ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) season, adding former national team youth standout Jordan Heading.

Coming fresh from a five-year stay at California Baptist University, the Filipino-Australian guard will be making his professional debut with Alab Pilipinas in the ABL after impressing with 15.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game during his final year playing D1 basketball.

Now 23 years of age, the 6-foot-2 Heading had also represented the Philippines during the 2011 FIBA Asia U16 tournament that was held in Nha Trang, Vietnam.

When he arrives, the former CBU Lancer will be joining fellow new arrivals Jason Brickman, Jeremiah Grey, Louie Vigil,  Aaron Aban, and imports Adrian Forbes and Khalif Wyatt.

Meanwhile, Brandon Rosser, Lawrence Domingo, and former ABL Co-Defensive Player of the Year Renaldo Balkman will also be returning to the team.

The 2017-18 ABL Champions is reloading hard as they look to rebound from last season’s early quarterfinals exit where they got swept by Hong Kong Eastern in two games, despite finishing the regular season as the second-seeded team.

However, they will only have under a month left to prepare before they tip off their 2019-20 campaign on the road against the Mono Vampire Basketball Club on November 17.
