After getting cut by Mono Vampire Basketball Club right before the start of the current season, former World Import MVP Anthony Tucker will be making a prompt return to the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL).
According to a source close to situation, the former ABL World Import MVP will be joining struggling Chinese Taipei team Formosa Dreamers, replacing flashy, high-scoring point guard Marcus Keene.
Tucker previously averaged 25.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 9.9 assists with the Macau Black Bears, before going down with the same injury during a road game against the Dreamers in Changhua, Taiwan in the latter part of last season.
The 6’3” American point guard is best known for his ability to create his own shots while also being able to feed teammates with excellent court vision. A player of Tucker’s caliber would certainly give the Taiwanese fans a lot of hope after a rather rocky start in contrast to their successful sophomore season last year.
Tucker will be suiting up his first game as a Dreamer against the Taipei Fubon Braves at home on December 21 in the second meeting of the newly-formed rivalry Taiwan Tussle.
