The Macau Black Bears utilized an exceptional offensive game to secure a road victory against their Pearl River Delta rivals Hong Kong Eastern, 93-79.

Macau had taken a 31-20 lead at the end of first quarter, before Eastern import Trey Kell went on a personal 8-0 run and cut their deficit down to just three points with three minutes remaining in the first half. Hong Kong finally tied the game at 46-apiece after import TJ Price made a layup to beat the buzzer going into halftime.

The unusually-quiet Mikh McKinney connected on three quick buckets from perimeter to take another 14-point lead for the visiting Black Bears with five minutes remaining in the game.

McKinney scored 18 of his 25 points in the decisive quarter, adding nine rebounds, five assists and three steals, while teammate Brandon Edwards added 25 points and 11 boards in the win.

On the other hand, Eastern’s Trey Kell finished with a game-high 31 points and 10 rebounds, and was also a perfect 12-12 from the charity stripe but also committed seven turnovers in this game.

Both Macau Black Bears and Hong Kong Eastern would play their next game away from home at Taipei Heping Gymnasium against Taipei Fubon Braves on 29th and 30th of November respectively.
