The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) announce the players who could be representing the country in the 3X3 basketball tournament which will make its debut at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.

Right after announcing an all-pro lineup for the basketball tournament, the league also released the list of players who could be selected to form the 3-on-3 squad, including recent Gilas Pilipinas members who competed in the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup in Jaymar ‘CJ’ Perez, Robert Bolick, and Raymond Almazan.

Also included in the 12-man pool are PBA players Anthony Semerad, Chris Newsome, Terrence Romeo, Ian Sangalang, Mac Belo, Chris Banchero, Jason Perkins, Mo Tautuaa, Baser Amer. Worth to note that none of these players have had prior experience in competing in high-level 3X3 competitions.

Meanwhile, the top-ranked Filipino 3X3 players who actively compete in both domestic and international tournaments under the Chooks-To-Go Pilipinas initiative were not considered.

The 2019 Southeast Asian Games 3X3 basketball events are scheduled to be held between December 1-2 Filoil Flying V Arena in Manila, Philippines.
