The NBA’s reigning Most Valuable Player James Harden will return to Manila next week for adidas’ Free To Harden Asia Tour, marking his fifth time visiting fans in the Philippines.
The Houston Rockets star previously made four trips to the basketball-crazed nation, the first being in 2011 for a pair exhibition games against an all-star PBA selection and the Philippine National Team.
‘The Beard’ came back for an appearance in the NBA 3X Philippines tournament, and then played in the Manila leg of the NBA Global Games between the Rockets and the Indiana Pacers, both during the 2013 offseason. He also made a visit in 2014 for a charity event.
Filipino fans will get to relive Harden’s iconic moments and celebrate his greatest milestones as he sports his latest signature shoe, the Harden Vol. 3, which can be purchased for P7500.
Aside from the signature Harden Vol. 3 line, the seven-time NBA All-Star also have multiple colorways of the no-nonsense Harden B/E X (P6000) and the Harden B/E 3 (P5500) models currently available both in stores and online.
Fans of the NBA superstar can be part of Free To Harden Freestyle Hub by getting a P5,000 single receipt purchase in participating adidas stores from June 16-25, 2019. You may view the full mechanics and list of participating stores here.
“We’re excited to bring back James Harden to Manila— this time for adidas— in this great opportunity for him to meet and get to know his Filipino fans better,” said Jen Dacasin, adidas Philippines Brand Communications and Sports Marketing Manager.
