Filipino point guard Paul Zamar will be joining Mono Vampire Basketball Club as one of their heritage imports when they make their return back for the upcoming 2017-2018 season of the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL).

Zamar played for affiliate team Mono Thewphaingarm in both Thai domestic tournaments where they were able to advance to the finals of the Thailand Basketball Super League (TBSL), and the semifinals of the Thailand Basketball League (TBL). He briefly played for the Mono Vampire in the pocket tournament meant as a tune-up for the Thai National Team before the SEABA Tournament last summer.

The 2012 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) draftee, who once had a breakout 52-point, 10-rebound outing against local powerhouse Hi-tech Basketball, joined veteran guard Patrick Cabahug as one of two Filipino imports relied on to stable the ship for Mono Thew during the past year. During the off-season, he also played in various tournaments in Malaysia and Indonesia.
