Filipino-Indonesian Ebrahim ‘Biboy’ Enguio has found his groove, as he helped lift the CLS Knights Indonesia in their big 105-74 victory on the road against the struggling Formosa Dreamers.

Enguio put up his career-best outing so far in the ASEAN Basketball League after he came off the bench and hit all four of his three-point attempts to notch 16 points, three rebounds, and two steals in just 18 minutes of floor time. He was awarded player of the game by the league.

The Indonesian National Team standout displayed excellent shot selection and composure in his second game back after an ankle injury he sustained in practice. He finished the game with a solid 66 percent from the field (6-9).

“One of the main factors was getting my rhythm back after my injury. I’ll try and be even more aggressive,” said Enguio. “I just focus on my job offensively, played defense as usual, and tried my best to help my team win.’’

Having limited minutes on the court early in the season have affected Enguio. After having played against most of the Knights when he was still with Aspac Jakarta in the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL), he is quite familiar with their game but is still trying to mesh with them better in actual competition.

“I am still adjusting to my teammates now so I am taking it slow. The important this is we see some progress. Hopefully we can keep it going.”

The CLS Knights will continue their roadtrip against the Westports Malaysia Dragons in Kuala Lumpur on February 4.
