The CLS Knights Indonesia loses another one of their best local players for the upcoming season of the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL).

After four years with the Knights, forward Kaleb Ramot Gemilang has decided to pursue a different path as he makes his return to the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) with traditional contender Stapac Jakarta, who has not won the domestic title in four years.

Gemilang, who averaged 4.2 points and 1.5 rebounds in limited minutes during the past ABL season, has won one title with the Knights during their championship run in the 2016 IBL season.

The Indonesian national team member is the third notable player to leave the Surabaya-based club during the offseason after the team parted ways with Indonesian-Filipino guard Ebrahim ‘Biboy’ Enguio, and Mario Wuysang’s retirement from professional play.

The Knights however, added added Indonesian-American forward Brandon Jawato and former Singapore Slingers point guard Wong Wei Long, who apparently is of Indonesian descent.

The Knights are set to open the sophomore season in the ASEAN Basketball League on the road as they visit the Saigon Heat on November 18.
